Glossary A–Z

The glossary lists the terminology alphabetically — for browsing rather than searching. It shows the preferred designation of the selected language for each concept, with its equivalent in the other languages below it. A click opens the entry.

Initial letters

The letter bar only offers letters that actually have entries behind them. A letter with no designations is not offered at all, so no click ends on an empty page. The glossary opens on the first letter that has entries, and the bar stays in view while you scroll.

Umlauts are filed under their base letter: you will find "Änderung" under A, not under a letter of its own.

Language

The glossary shows one language at a time — at first the one you are reading the site in. Use the language switch at the top right to change it; the list is then rebuilt, because each language has its own alphabetical order.
